405 Mods Memphis, TN Round 9-10 GT AX

GT Arenacross Rounds 9-10 Recap: Memphis – Sponsored by 405 Mods

950 miles. Freezing weather. And one of the toughest weekends we’ve faced this season. Rounds 9-10 of the GT Arenacross series in Memphis tested everything we had—physically, mentally, emotionally. But the Ajax 405 Race Team, backed by 405 Mods, isn’t about easy wins. It’s about the fight. It’s about the grind. It’s about showing up, no matter what, and leaving it all on the track.

Chase Marquier: Pushing Through the Frustration

Chase came into Memphis with one goal: to win. He showed he has the speed, dominating both of his heat races Friday and Saturday. On Friday night, he delivered in the first main, battling to a 2nd place finish. But a crash in the second main cost him a shot at the podium, leaving him 7th overall for the night.

Saturday started even stronger, with another commanding heat race win. But when it came time for the first main, a crash sent him to the back of the pack, and you could see the frustration on his face. Chase wants more—he expects more from himself. And that’s what makes him a racer. He rebounded with a gritty 2nd in the second main, but it wasn’t enough to climb higher than another 7th overall.

Chase knows the fight isn’t over. The speed is there, the talent is there, and the will is there. It’s only a matter of time before he gets the result he’s been grinding for.

Wyatt Reimer: The Definition of Grit

Wyatt came into Memphis with momentum and confidence. Friday night, he rode strong for a 9th-place finish in the A Main, even after a small crash. Saturday, he looked set to deliver his best performance of the season. But racing doesn’t always go to plan.

On the first lap of the main, another rider cut over on Wyatt in the whoops, sending him into a violent crash. He suffered a Grade 3 AC separation and an impact fracture to his humerus. Most riders would’ve called it right there. But not Wyatt. He pulled into the mechanics’ area, waited for the white flag, and rode through the pain to take the checkered flag. Because that’s what this sport is about. It’s about finishing, no matter what.

This injury ends Wyatt’s Arenacross season, but his determination and heart are what this team is built on. Wyatt will recover, and when he comes back, he’ll be ready to fight again.

405 Mods: Built for the Grind

Saturday night, after the races were done, I stood on the track and asked myself: Why? Why do we do this? Why do we pour everything into a sport that demands so much and gives so little back sometimes? Why do we keep grinding when the setbacks feel endless?

The answer is simple: because this is who we are. At 405 Mods, it’s not just about building bikes—it’s about building opportunities. It’s about creating machines that let riders like Chase and Wyatt fight for their dreams. It’s about the grind, the frustration, and the breakthroughs. It’s about knowing that even when things don’t go your way, you gave everything you had.

This weekend reminded me that it’s not about the easy wins. It’s about the tough nights. It’s about the fight when nothing seems to go right. Watching Chase push through his frustration and Wyatt ride through his pain made it clear: this is why we do it. Because at the end of the day, the grind is what makes the victories worth it.

If you’re ready to take your bike to the next level, we’re here to help. Engine builds, suspension tuning, performance upgrades—whatever you need, we’ve got you. At 405 Mods, we build bikes for racers who are in it for the fight, for the grind, for the love of the sport.
