Ajax 405, Lebanon MO, GT AX Round 3 and 4

Rounds 3 and 4 of the GT Arenacross Series took us to Lebanon, Missouri, and it turned into one of those weekends that reminds you exactly why Arenacross is so unpredictable — and why we love it.

Both Wyatt and Bayler lined up Friday night, and it ended up being a big milestone for the team. Bayler ripped a holeshot in his Heat Race and brought it home third, transferring straight into the Main Event. Wyatt just missed the direct transfer by one spot in his Heat, but bounced back with a strong second place in the LCQ to secure his spot. That put both riders in the A Main for the first time this season, and it was awesome to see the program trending in the right direction.

Both guys rode well in the Mains, but crashes in separate races kept the results from fully showing the speed they had on track. Still, the progress was obvious.

Saturday night looked a little different. Wyatt had to miss racing to stand as best man in his brother’s wedding — and while we definitely wanted him on the gate, family always comes first. Racing is temporary, family is forever.

Bayler had a tougher start to the day, getting tangled with another rider in his Heat and missing the transfer. In the LCQ, he did exactly what needed to be done — holeshot and win. That put him on the far outside gate for the Main Event, lining up against a field stacked with 450s. From that outside gate on a 250, Bayler launched out front, grabbed the holeshot, and went on to lead over half of the Main Event.

Watching Bayler stretch a gap and control the race was something special. Unfortunately, a lap rider went down while trying to exit the track, clipped bars with Bayler, and sent him into a tough block, shuffling him back deep in the field. It was a tough break, but it didn’t take away from what the ride showed — speed, confidence, and race-winning potential.

Lebanon also marked a step forward for the team setup. After adjusting the bikes from the previous weekend, traction and overall feel improved noticeably. The Ajax 405 Race Team kit, Motocutz Graphics, and matching Troy Lee Designs gear looked incredible under the lights, and the whole program felt sharp despite the freezing temperatures.

With a short break ahead, we’ll regroup and head into Lincoln, Nebraska ready to keep building momentum.
