Fuel Ministry, Mesquite TX, GT AX Round 9 and 10

The Ajax Motorsports 405 Mods Race Team headed to Mesquite, Texas for Rounds 9 and 10 of the GT Arenacross Series, and it turned into one of the most meaningful weekends of the season — both on and off the track.

After two weeks off due to a cancellation, Wyatt came into Mesquite locked in and focused on improving the areas we identified after Cedar Rapids. That work paid off in a big way on Friday night with a 5th place finish in the Main Event, his best result of the season so far. One of our goals all year has been consistent top-five contention, and reaching that mark was a huge step forward for the program.

This weekend was proudly presented by Fuel Ministry, a partner that represents much more than racing. Fuel Ministry hosts dirt bike camps across the country centered around faith, mentorship, and community. While we originally planned to feature Fuel Ministry closer to home in Oklahoma, being able to represent them in Texas turned out to be incredibly impactful.

Throughout the weekend, we had the opportunity to connect with 20–30 families, answering questions, sharing stories, and talking about what Fuel Ministry camps offer young riders. That kind of interaction is the whole reason we put so much effort into this program — racing creates the platform, but people are the purpose.

One thing that stood out this weekend was how much fans naturally gravitated toward the pits. People want to see the bikes up close, meet the teams, and engage with the sport on a personal level. While the current pit setup makes that challenging at times, moments like Mesquite show just how powerful fan engagement can be when given the opportunity. It’s an area we’re excited about long-term, because it directly impacts how we connect fans with our partners and the sport itself.

The weekend also brought some added value on the media side. The Western store at the arena allowed us to bring the bikes inside for photos, giving the content a unique look and something different than the usual parking-lot shots. Experiences like that help elevate our storytelling and showcase our partners in a more meaningful way.

Mesquite was a reminder of what’s possible when performance, purpose, and people come together. We’re proud of the progress, thankful for the opportunity, and excited to keep building as the season continues.
