Motocutz, Lincoln NE, GT AX, Round 5 and 6

The Ajax Motorsports 405 Mods Race Team made the long haul to Lincoln, Nebraska for Rounds 5 and 6 of the GT Arenacross Series. Coming off a short holiday break, the crew was eager to get back into race mode and continue building momentum as the season moves forward.
The weekend brought some challenges, but also some of the most encouraging progress we’ve seen all season.
Unfortunately, during the break, Bayler McKellar suffered a crash that resulted in multiple injuries requiring surgery. While this will likely sideline him for much of the remaining season, our priority is his long-term health. We won’t rush his return — when Bayler gets back on the bike, we want him fully healthy and ready to pick up right where he left off.
With Bayler out, Wyatt carried the program solo under the Ajax 405 tent in Lincoln. He delivered his best finishes of the season, finishing 7th on Friday night and 9th on Saturday, showing consistency, speed, and continued growth. With a few areas still to improve, the goal of breaking into the top five — and pushing closer to the podium — is well within reach.
Even with one rider sidelined, the weekend stayed busy. The team continued supporting a collaborative effort with Race Tech Titanium Twisted and Riley Ripper, helped Jake Preston make the trip from the UK to compete in the series, and supported multiple 405 Mods suspension customers throughout the event.
Lincoln was also our Motocutz Graphics weekend, and the bikes absolutely stood out. Their work allows us to showcase every partner cleanly and professionally, and the custom kit drew constant attention in the pits. Dozens of fans stopped to take photos and talk about the bikes all weekend — a true testament to the quality and detail Motocutz delivers.
Rounds 5 & 6 are complete, and while the season has thrown its share of curveballs, the direction of the program remains strong.
