Weekend Recap: Moto Cutz x Ajax 405 Race Team at Lebanon Arenacross
A huge thank you to Moto Cutz, our title sponsor for the weekend, for their incredible support and flexibility. With our main shroud sponsors coming together last minute for each weekend, Moto Cutz has gone above and beyond, even overnighting graphics to make sure the bikes look their best on race day. Their dedication has been crucial in helping us navigate our first year as a team, and we’re so grateful for their partnership.
This past weekend, the Ajax 405 Race Team traveled to Lebanon for two nights of Arenacross action. After a 350-mile trip, the team settled into a loft built in the 1800s in downtown Lebanon—a unique and memorable spot that added to the weekend experience. We started things off with a great team-building breakfast Friday morning, setting the tone for a weekend of progress, teamwork, and camaraderie.
One of the highlights of the weekend was seeing so many 405 Mods riders in the pits. It’s always inspiring to have such strong support at the track. Arenacross is a unique series where competitors regularly step up to help one another. On Saturday, we had the chance to assist one of our closest competitors with an issue, ensuring they could race on Saturday Night. Moments like these remind us of the incredible community within General Tire Arenacross.
Friday Night Recap:
- Chase Marquier: 5-2 for 4th Overall
- Wyatt Reimer: 12-10 for 11th Overall
Chase returned to racing for the first time since his injury earlier in the season at Enid and made an immediate impact, finishing just off the podium. Wyatt showed steady improvement, qualifying for the main event and earning 11th overall, a strong step forward.
Saturday Night Recap:
- Chase Marquier: 5-3 for 4th Overall
- Wyatt Reimer: 13-11 for 13th Overall
Saturday continued the progress as Chase secured his second podium of the weekend (and the team’s first two podiums of the season). Wyatt hit a personal milestone, qualifying for the main event both nights, and showed great determination throughout the weekend.
Reflections & Goals Moving Forward:
This weekend was a big step forward for the team. Chase’s performance shows he’s ready to contend for wins, and we’re confident he’ll carry this momentum into the next round in Lincoln, NE. Wyatt continues to build confidence and is inching closer to his season goal of a top 5 finish.
With a four-week break before the next round, both riders are focused on getting more seat time and making steady progress. Injuries earlier in the season limited their riding time, but now that they’re healthy, we’re ready to put in the work during this break.
Looking Ahead:
As our team continues to grow, we’re actively seeking additional sponsors to support travel and maintenance costs throughout the season. Our sponsor registry on the website is a great way for businesses or individuals to contribute. If you’re a business interested in advertising with the team, please reach out—we’re continually improving our marketing efforts to provide value for our partners.
Thank you to everyone who supports us. We’re excited to see what’s next in Lincoln!
